Summer Snack Series: Berry Creamsicles

Summer has arrived! Kids are out of school. Pools are open. Summer camps are starting. Outdoor activities and water days are here! With all the super fun things about summer also come hungry, hungry kids. Snacky kids. Kids who want to gobble up the entire pantry.
Between swimming in the pool, riding bikes with friends, and the need for consistent stimulation, it can feel challenging to keep the kids fueled with something that’s healthy and tastes good.
Enter: popsicles.
We don’t mean ordinary popsicles. We mean delicious, creamy, protein-packed berry creamsicles!
These cold, delicious berry creamsicles sneak in a serving of plant-based protein and tons of nutrients to help your kids stay energized and balanced throughout the day (but they’ll have no idea they’re healthy). They’re great for a water day, a post-day camp snack, or just a yummy treat for a summer day lounging around the house.

Here’s an example of a great snack schedule to keep your kids fed, energized, and nourished:
