In another study, patients with H. Pylori (Helicobacter pylori) gastric load were given 150mg of GutGard® or a placebo daily for 60 days. They were evaluated on days 30 and 60. H. Pylori infection was assessed using a breath test (C-UBT) and a Stool Antigen test (HpSA), which was performed on days 0, 30, and 60. On day 30, the GutGard® group had 56% negative HsPA tests, while the placebo group only showed 4% negative results. On day 60, the results of C-UBT were negative in 48% of GutGard® recipients. Ultimately, this test showed that GutGard® is effective in managing H. Pylori.
