Spirulina Spin Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to get the nutrients you need without spending too much time in the kitchen. Spirulina is a type of cyanobacteria that can be found in both fresh and salt waters. It is blue-green in appearance (which is why your smoothie will be blue!), and is a great source of antioxidants. Spirulina is packed with protein, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, copper, and iron, and the protein in spirulina is complete, meaning it has all nine essential amino acids!

This smoothie is rich in Vitamin B, Protein, Vitamin C, Fiber, and Folate.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp organic raw spirulina
  • 1 scoop Previnex Nourify PLUS® vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your milk of choice)
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 frozen organic banana

Directions

Add milk to blender, followed by 1 scoops of previnex Nourify PLUS vanilla protein powder. Add remaining ingredients. Blend until smoothie reaches your desired texture!
