As each year comes to a close, I like to take time to reflect back on the past year and really think through everything that happened – the good things that have helped us grow as a company and the things that might not have gone as planned, but have helped us improve.
As 2017 comes to a close, I wanted to take an opportunity to connect and thank you personally for making 2017 such an incredible year at Previnex. We exist to serve you and your health needs, our relationship with you as one of our valued customers is something that we treasure, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to serve you!
Our mission is to create health and change lives, and this mission literally drives everything that we do at Previnex, from how we design our best-in-class products, to working with our customers and partners to help eradicate preventable childhood malnutrition, to how every employee interacts with customers, partners, and more!
As I look back on everything that was accomplished this year, especially as we’re closing in on our fifth birthday as a company this April, I wanted to share some key highlights from 2017.
Operational Improvements to Better Serve You
Over the summer, we moved into a new fulfillment center in the middle of the country. This helped us increase our shipping speed and lower overall shipping costs for all customers. Overnight and 2nd Day prices dropped dramatically, and we passed these savings on directly to you. In addition, we launched free economy shipping on all orders over $60 placed on our main website, www.previnex.com, and these changes were done to help lower the overall cost you pay for your Previnex products.
Previnex Gives Back & Get Health, Give Health® Launched
In July, we launched Previnex Gives Back and our Get Health, Give Health® Program, where for every order placed of any product on our site, we now donate a bottle of our children’s chewable vitamin, Super Vites, to the most at-risk, in-need children around the world through a partnership we created with Children’s Hunger Fund (CHF). When we learned that 17,000 children die every day from malnutrition around the world, and that as many as 45% die not because of food or starvation, but because of vitamin deficiencies, we were appalled and knew we had to do something about it.
In October, with your help we sent our first quarterly donation of 56,000 chewables to orphanages and schools in Haiti that serve these children. Below is a video that CHF sent in response, which is both encouraging and heartbreaking.
As part of this program, we also launched a donation portal on our site, where if you’re inclined, you can make a 100% tax-deductible donation of Super Vites one-time or on autoship. We’re very excited about the difference we can make together and you can learn more about that here.
New Programs Launched
This year, with the help of some of our experts and influencers in the health, fitness, and wellness world, we launched two new programs – a 7-Day Detox and 21-Day Reset Program. Both are firmly backed by science and data, like all of our products, and can be used as tools to further help our customers achieve optimal health.
Looking Ahead
As we look ahead, we’re excited about the impact we can make as a community to fight preventable childhood malnutrition. We’re also excited to launch a handful of new products and programs to further help you optimize your health. Like all Previnex products, they will be best-in-class, driven by science and data, and we can’t wait to share more as 2018 unfolds.
